We at LivingWork have formed a small group of like minded individuals from a variety of backgrounds, whereby the group will devote its efforts to the study and research of labour and work. Our goal is to generate original research and coordinate initiatives that produce outputs that support, investigate, and further detail the relationships between workers and work.

The center is slowly coming together. Here is a short list of projects that we are currently focusing on.

Current Projects:

1.Project On Hold: National and Local Union Survey Development Project.

2. The Future of Work: Developing a Road Map to the Knowledge Based Economy.

3. Qualitative study of the labour process for Registered Nurses Working within Ontario Hospitals.

4. "Being at Work" Poetry Challenge. A quest to build a signpost on the emotions of work that will document a cross section of experiences from the daily activities of workers.
